    SnipitAI Terms of Use and User Agreement

    Acceptance of Terms

    By accessing or using SnipitAI (“Service”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use (“Terms”). If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use our Service. You must be 18 years of age or older to use our Service. By using the Service, you also agree to comply with the terms and conditions set by OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google, as they relate to any integrations or services utilized through SnipitAI.

    Disclaimer of Warranties

    Our Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis. To the extent permitted by law, SnipitAI and its affiliates make no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from loss, corruption, attack, or unauthorized access.
    Any content or outputs provided by our Service should not be relied upon as a sole source of truth or factual information. You acknowledge that outputs from the Service may not be accurate or reliable and should not be substituted for professional advice, including but not limited to legal, medical, or financial advice.

    Limitation of Liability

    TO THE FULLEST EXTENT ALLOWED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SNIPITAI AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUES, DATA, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU FOR THE SERVICE DURING THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100), WHICHEVER IS GREATER.

    Purchase of OpenAI Tokens and Billing

    If you purchase OpenAI tokens through SnipitAI, you agree to provide accurate and complete billing information. The purchase price for tokens will be automatically charged to your payment method at the time of purchase. All payments for tokens are non-refundable unless required by law. You are responsible for any applicable taxes, and we will charge taxes where required. If your payment cannot be completed, your access to certain features or the use of tokens may be limited or suspended until payment is received.

    We reserve the right to modify the pricing of tokens with 30 days’ notice. Any price changes will take effect on future token purchases.

    Termination and Suspension

    We may suspend or terminate your account if:
     - You breach these Terms or applicable policies.
     - We are required to do so by law or court order.
     - Your behavior harms other users or SnipitAI (e.g., phishing, spamming, or unauthorized content scraping).

    We reserve the right to terminate accounts inactive for over a year unless they are associated with paid subscriptions. You may cancel your subscription or stop using the Service at any time. If you believe your account was terminated in error, you can file an appeal by contacting our Support team.

    Privacy and Data Collection

    SnipitAI values your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. We only collect and store information you intentionally provide, such as your name and email address, to deliver the Service. No personal content is collected, stored, or sold without your explicit consent.

    Google Authentication Data: SnipitAI uses "Sign in with Google" for secure, passwordless authentication. Google may collect additional information like IP addresses, browser types, and languages to improve its services and verify user records. SnipitAI does not control the collection of this data, and you are encouraged to review Google’s privacy policies for further details.

    Client Data Confidentiality: All data shared within the Service is treated as highly confidential. SnipitAI does not use your data for training or improving our AI models when utilizing OpenAI’s APIs, in accordance with OpenAI's privacy policies. We employ industry-standard security measures to ensure that your data is secure on your devices and our systems.

    Intellectual Property Rights

    SnipitAI and its affiliates retain all rights, title, and interest in and to the Service, including our name, logo, and any intellectual property associated with the Service. You may not use any of our intellectual property without permission except in compliance with our Brand Guidelines.

    Changes and Discontinuation of Service

    We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time. If we discontinue the Service, we will provide advance notice and a refund for any unused prepaid services.

    Compliance with Third-Party Terms

    As SnipitAI utilizes technologies and services provided by OpenAI, Microsoft, and Google, your use of the Service is also subject to their respective terms and conditions. By using SnipitAI, you agree to adhere to the terms of service provided by these third parties.

    General Terms

    These Terms are governed by applicable law. They do not limit liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

    Students and Test Takers Terms

    Eligibility
    Students or test takers using SnipitAI for exam preparation, study assistance, or similar educational purposes must abide by all institutional rules and guidelines related to academic integrity. Use of SnipitAI in a way that violates academic policies, such as submitting AI-generated content as original work or using SnipitAI to cheat on exams or assignments, is strictly prohibited.

    Responsibilities of Users
     - Users must take full responsibility for the content generated through SnipitAI and its applications in academic contexts.
     - Students must use SnipitAI as a supplementary tool and should verify any information or content generated by cross-referencing with approved academic sources.
     - By using the Service, you agree that SnipitAI outputs should not replace genuine learning efforts or be relied on solely for academic success.

    Institutional and Exam Body Compliance
    SnipitAI will not be held responsible for any misuse of the Service in violation of rules established by educational institutions, exam boards, or certifying bodies. It is the user’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all relevant rules, regulations, and honor codes.
